Peer Support Q&A – Substance Use

November 29 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Virtual Event Virtual Event

Q&A session on navigating peer support when supporting people affected by alcohol or drug use.

Are you a peer support facilitator in Greater Manchester? Do you have questions such as:

  • What do you do if someone in the group appears intoxicated?
  • What could I say to someone that is looking for support regarding their substance use?
  • What is the difference between a lapse and a relapse?
  • What support is available for people affected by someone else’s substance use?

We invite you to our upcoming Question and Answer session designed just for you!

What to Expect:

Community Development Staff from Achieve will be on hand to help answer your questions. Please submit your questions ahead of the session by clicking here.

The event is free to attend and will be held online on Zoom. Click here to book.

Please note this event is open to Greater Manchester peer workers (working across Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan & Leigh).
